What format should I use for the smallest files?
WebP is usually the smallest for photos. Use JPG if you need maximum compatibility, and PNG for transparency or text-heavy images.
What quality should I choose?
Start at 80% for WebP/JPG. If artifacts are visible, increase to 90–95%. If you need smaller files, reduce to 60–75%.
Why is my PNG still large?
PNG is lossless. Use WebP/JPG for photos, or reduce dimensions with max width/height to shrink PNG output.
